Though hopefully that won't be for a while as I've bought a huge roll of parchment!

Celia - glad I'm not the only one! It is a really nice soft loaf though - sweet in comparison to your sourdough I imagine.Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13067886984635079539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7509623290663629278.post-18595393904395264782010-08-30T11:00:27.651+01:002010-08-30T11:00:27.651+01:00Sigh...add me to the list of people who've tri...Sigh...add me to the list of people who've tried to sub greaseproof for parchment as well. Lots of sympathy here. Can I suggest trying sprinkling fine semolina either on the tray or on the bottom side of the loaf (assuming you are proving it upside down and then turning it out on the tray) if you have no choice but to use greaseproof like this time - I usually use semolina on bare trays or the bread peel and the bread slides Joannahttp://zebbakes.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7509623290663629278.post-71016280648803578832010-08-29T19:01:56.438+01:002010-08-29T19:01:56.438+01:00What a shame - but at least it was the underside a...What a shame - but at least it was the underside and didn't effect the flavour ;0)Chelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00939575593242980773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7509623290663629278.post-14018300486009260552010-08-29T18:38:25.947+01:002010-08-29T18:38:25.947+01:00shame about the sticking - it's a glorious loa...shame about the sticking - it's a glorious loaf! The Caked Crusaderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02840224194242219981noreply@blogger.com
